How are conflicts over water usually settled?

These conflicts are still considered “looming.” However, with the depletion of water imminent, they will more tahn likely be here before we know it.

The consensus for water conflicts is that violence will be the unavoidable outcome. All over the Middle East, countries are currently squabbling over freshwater resources, and the UN cites around 300 trouble spots the world over where these could (and more than likely will) escalate into violence int he near future. Whether its countries attempting to dam rivers within their borders and horde the water, or diverting a waterway’s path, the panic of water shortage is quickyl building to a fever pitch.
