How are NiMH batteries made?

NiMH (Nickel-metal hydride) batteries are made of nickel oxide-hydroxide (positive electrode), hydrogen (negative electrode), and potassium hydroxide, used as the electrolyte.  In NiMH batteries, the potassium hydroxide electrolyte has a very high electrical conductivity which remains at a fairly constant level during the use of the battery, providing high levels of power and a long life.
