How are the few herding civilizations left dealing with climate change?

Reindeer herders near the Arctic are more impacted by climate change than most societies because the Arctic climate is changing so rapidly, and because the animals they herd require a specific environment. Organizations such as the Nordic Saami Institute, International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry, Association of World Reindeer Herders and the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science are currently working along with several national governments to help herders adjust to changes. While impacted by climate change, the herders have also shown ability to adapt their techniques.
