How are children vitamins different than vitamins for adults?

Since humans grow in different stages, their nutritional needs change over time. This is why milk or formula can sustain a baby only for so long, because they must get different nutrients. Children that are yet hit puberty need more nutrients like calcium and iron to help in growth and development. Meanwhile, adult and senior vitamins are designed to treat the nutritional needs of their respective ages through different nutritional componets.

Children have different nutritional needs than adults and so the vitamins differ in the nutritional content. Growing children need enough calcium, iron, and vitamin C to fulfill their needs. Adults have different nutritional needs such as needing higher amounts of B vitamins, and vitamin E and A. Also, children’s vitamins are designed to be appealing to children through the use of gummy bears, and sweeter flavors.
