Yes. Helium is present in the natural air composition; however, there is only a small percentage: 0.000524%. Air is largely nitrogen and oxygen. Refer to the chart below for other element percentages of air composition.
Helium does occur in air, but very much more – and all of the helium that is used commercially – is found in underground pools of natural gas, mostly in the Texas-Oklahoma-Kansas area.
