Have we sent a human to the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean yet?

Yes.  The Oscar winning director of Titanic, James Cameron, just became the first solo explorer to reach the  western Pacific Ocean’s Mariana Trench which is 35,756 ft below the surface, approximately 7 miles down.

In 1960, two explorers did the same thing, but were unable to see very much do to all the debris that their vehicle kicked up.

Without use of a submarine, but with use of human breathing aparatus, the deepest dive is recorded at 609.6 meters. The dive was conducted by a Navy diver using new technology in 2007.
