Yes, and no. When a LED light goes out, it goes out in chunks, rather than all at once. This way, a crew can replace it before its gone. However, unlike incandescent bulbs, LED lights don’t give off heat; when a light is covered by sleet or snow, it becomes impossible to see, and as such, there have been accidents, though it wasn’t necessarily the LED light’s fault.
