Yep, at least the following few have gone extinct. The Wake Island Rail was hunted to extinction by the Japanese who occupied the island during World War II and were cut off from food supplies. The Laysan Rail was weakened due to an invasive rabbit species, and finished off by a second invasion – of rats, which came there on a US ship during WWII. The Japanese Sea Lion was heavily hunted, and is believed to have been pushed to extinction by submarine warfare that destroyed its habitat. The Guam Flying Fox has gone extinct in part due to loss of habitat as the island was occupied by Japanese and US forces during WWII. I’m sure this list is missing some more animals that became endangered due to warfare.
