Yes, the Onion has. One of the articles is titled “I’m Doing My Inconsequential Part For The Environment”. This article was written by Peter Keim, and can be read here: http://www.theonion.com/content/node/48223

They also did a “Green Products” infographic, which is accessible here: http://www.theonion.com/content/node/27565

And here is an article called “3′-By-4′ Plot Of Green Space Rejuvenates Neighborhood”: http://www.theonion.com/content/news/3_by_4_plot_of_green_space

My favorite Onion article on the environment is, “‘How Bad for the Environment Can Throwing Away One Plastic Bottle Be?’ 30 million People Wonder”

The Onion actually features environmental content pretty frequently.  A somewhat recent story was “EPA: Stubborn Environment Refusing to Meet Civilization Halfway.”  Of course, the article maintains The Onion’s signature satirical nature, meaning that a lot of the content is left up to interpretation.
