has MIT ever built a boat that uses hydrogen technology?

I don’t know about MIT, but German company MTU introduced its CoolCell hydrogen technology system, drawing hydrogen from a tank and oxygen from the air to generate electricity, with water being the only emission. Incidentally, this comes from the same country that brought us the world’s first Fuel Cell Boat, Hydra in June 2000 on the Rhine near Bonn, Germany.

According to Duffy Electric Boat Company’s Marshall Duffield, These hydrogen cells could eventually take zero-emission boats much farther than batteries ever could.
