According to APN News, China has “spent a whopping 1.53 billion dollars over the past five years to protect the environment in Tibet”. This has included an establishment of nature reserves, whose hope is to preserve and protect wetlands and forests in the Himalayan region. This comes as very good news for Tibet as even five years ago, the air quality of the land was desolate and harmful to its citizens. It appears China really has been the main proponent in assisting their neighboring country get back on its feet and helped it maintain quality of life for all.
