A meteorite believed to be from Mars was found in Antarctica in 1984 and NASA says this meteorite may prove there was microscopic life on the planet four billion years ago. Scientists examining this rock say the compounds found on it are unmistakable proof of life.
The meteorite is believed to have landed on earth 13,000 years ago.
Evidence has been found of possible past life on Mars. In the mid 1980s, a meteorite was discovered that had broken off from Mars and hit the Earth roughly 13,000 years ago. Within this meteorite, there were worm-like organisms fossilized, possibly bacteria. NASA experts state that this is very strong evidence of past life on Mars. Hungarian scientists also claim to have found evidence of life on Mars in which bacteria exists underneath ice patches on the planet.
In support of what my predecessors to this question have offered, NASA says the meteorite suggests evidence of past life in Mars but whether there still exists life in the planet is still not yet proved.
