Has deforestation hurt chimpanzee populations the most?

    Chimps are another species close to extinction due to deforestation, so to say it has hurt them “the most” can be considered almost accurate, assuming that “the most” would mean they were already extinct.

    No, chimps find themselves in the dangerous boat that many other species are in thanks to mankind’s destruction of their natural habitat. Not only does tearing down the trees remove their homes, but the road put into the forest to get to the trees brings more than just loggers: hunters on the prowl for chimp meat get better access to their prey and act as another threat to the now homeless creatures.
