I haven’t seen any successful examples of consumers suing for false, “greenwashed” advertisements. Campaigns to discredit these adds do raise awareness of illogical claims like the one you refer to. As concern for the environment grows companies with tarnished reputations (for example in the fossil fuel, pesticide/chemical, bottled water, and auto industries) are trying desperately to convince consumers that they are in fact good for the planet. Kudos to you for not buying their bull.
