Raising sheep requires lots of land and water (both for the sheep and to grow their food) and produce a great deal of pollution themselves as manure. But, since lambs are young when they are harvested, they don’t use resources as long as a full grown sheep raised for meat would. But, I’ll leave the question of eating lamb and meat in and of itself alone.
