Is ground beef more environmentally friendly than Fillet Mignon?

    Not really. The cuts of a cow are just taken from different parts of the animal. When they cut for Fillet Mignon, they don’t trash the rest of the cow – they use the rest for other cuts like short ribs, flank steak, roast, and ground beef. It’s better for your pocket book to eat ground beef but no differentiation for the environment if you are going to eat meat anyway.
