In some ways, yes. The cookware contains no petroleum products, and the non stick coating doesn’t contain teflon, which is the main industry chemical that people worry about when it comes to non-stick products. And, the cookware is buit to conduct heat well, for good cooking efficiency. However, they don’t work on induction stovetops, and they’re still shipped all the way from China. If you’re looking for non stick cookware, Cuisinarts new line may be a good choice. Otherwise, it’s probably better to stick with conventional pots and pans, or perhaps invest in a line of iron containing cookware, incase induction stovetops ever become a norm.
