Yes, The Princeton Review and the Sustainable Endowments Institute both have rated the “greenest” colleges in America.
Princeton Review recently released a list of what they call the “2011 Green Rating Honor Roll.” This list contains 18 colleges that received their highest ranking of 99, based on their Green Rating criteria. Known and respected for their college rankings on a number of different categories, this is the third year Princeton Review has reported Green Ratings. This is meant to show the most “environmentally friendly” campuses around the country, based on a criteria of course offerings, environmental practices, and environmental policies.
