Yes. Some people associate going green with making a large financial investment. While this is true in many cases — installing solar panels, buying organic or local grown foods, buying a new more fuel efficient vehicle — there are also many ways to be more green without having to invest heavily — recycling, composting, reducing driving miles, turning down the thermostat, using compact fluorescent light bulbs. Furthermore, some people are apprehensive about the reliability of new green technologies because they have not been tested through time.
