Going green is better for your wallet and most importantly your health. Green buildings are better for for people with allergies or asthma, since they typically have much better air quality monitoring and ventilation. Using natural cleaners is a lot safer than products that are loaded with toxic chemicals. Increasing walking or riding a bike reduces the risk of obesity, while strengthening a person’s body. Reducing the amount of meat in your diet is better for your heart and the planet. Also, buying local fruits and vegetables (keep it under 250 miles) reduces the amount of travel time for the produce, chemicals added, and offers more nutrition value than produce from a supermarket. Giving up plastic water bottles means giving up risk of containamented water from leaching plastic.
Yes. Sustainably produced foods are healthier. Organically grown food has less dangerous pesticides –which may cause cancer. Meat and dairy products without antibiotics or hormones is better for you too.
