Goat’s milk is essentially healthier for humans than is cow’s milk. It contains every essential amino acid, less fat than cow’s milk, is easier to digest, and contains more vitamin A than cow’s milk. Goat milk has more medium chain fatty acids, which helps with easier digestion. Its fat consists of 35% of these fatty acids while cow’s milk contains 17%. The medium chain fatty acids are said to be beneficial for people with certain types of diseases, especially diseases related to metabolism and digestive issues. Goat’s milk also has more riboflavin (vitamin B2), which helps to maintain health in humans, than cow’s milk and has about 33% of the recommended daily calcium intake. Finally, a cup of cow’s milk about eight grams of protein whereas a cup of goat’s milk contains almost nine grams.
