Is global warming speeding up?

Global warming is a change in climate regime caused by anthropogenically increased concentrations of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Intutively we can conclude that this process is indeed speeding up. The industrialized world’s populations are only increasing and industry is growing along with it. The worlds industrial nations have not made any drastic movements to reduce or regulate emissions since this phenomenon was realized to be occuring, so we conclude that this process of climate change is continuing, and at a faster rate.
