Global warming is both a natural and man-made process. The earth is in a continuous cycle of ice ages and interglacial periods. We are currently in an interglacial period where temperatures are warmer and glaciers retreat. However, the unstable conditions caused by increased levels of greenhouse gases have intensified the effects of global warming by man-made causes disrupting the delicate balance of the atmosphere.
I believe global warming is natural.
Like emcey said, it’s both. Greenhouse gasses are naturally occurring in our atmosphere, and actually enable life to exist on this planet because they help keep the earth warm. Carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor are naturally occurring greenhouse gasses that absorb radiation given off by earth and help keep it warm. However, there has been a massive increase in these gasses due to human activity and the burning of fossil fuels to the point where Earth is being heated at an unnatural rate.
