Is global warming causing more heat waves?

global warming is generally an overused term for what would be better referred to as climate change. Climate change makes weather act less predictably (because it is changing from what we know to be the norm to a new norm, we do not have any historical data to explain whats happening so its unpredictable). One form of this could be seen in heat waves, but other weather phenomenons, like hurricanes and tsunamis, are also evidence of climate change.
