Is gatorade better for you than water?

    Gatorade is good for providing lost minerals and electrolytes that are lost from the body during vigorous exercise. However, it is does not rehydrate as well as water and does not have large amounts of sugar and salts that actually dehydrate. Thus, gatorade is beneficial in small quantities, but no beverage is better for your body than plain water.
