E85, and E10, which are 85% and 10% ethanol, respectively, are already in production. There are also 100% ethanol fuels. Ethanol is used to replace gasoline because it burns cleaner, and production is more environmentally friendly. Also, corn, which is used to make ethanol, is a renewable resource, while the world’s oil reserves aren’t.
