Forest floor, in part

  1. 0 Votes

There forest has about 2 levels that can be considered the “floor.” Underneath the understory is the shrub level, which grows, as the name suggests, shrubs and vines. Underneath that is the actual floor, which isn’t as tangles and green as most people think it is. It is actually quite barren as it is very dark. It is moist down there due to the trapping of moisture from an abundance of fallen leaves.
