Not particularly. Foam can be recycled as long as it’s not dirty or oily. However, a lot of foam is used for food storage, which means they get dirty and can’t be recycled. Plus, foam takes a long, long time to decompose in landfills, which is by no means green. The best bet is to find alternatives to foam for food, and then recycle or reuse any foam used for shipping purposes.
