The gov. just gave them a 528.7 million dollar loan to make just that. I think that one of the reasons there is so much “buzz” right now about their company, is that they do have awesome looking vehicles. They are also up-and-coming which means they will know that to compete with toyota and other current hybrid brands, they will need to create a nice looking vehicle as opposed to a “knock-off”. That will help ensure they begin accumulating and retaining market-share. FYI, Tesla’s Model S electric sedan, in comparison, costs an estimated $50,000 to $56,400 after rebates.
