Is FedEx doing anything to green their fleet?

    Yes, the FedEx fleet, featuring over 100,000 vehicles, is losing its diesel-powered ways and trying to utilize a cleaner way to power its transportation. That includes electric hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells. Their appeal lies in cost cuts, in that a green vehicle is more expensive to buy, but in the long run, will save the company much more money.

    FedEx is actually one of the leaders in the sustainable economy (see below), with their three primary initiatives:

    -Conservation of shipping and packaging-based materials
    -Alternative energies used for shipping purposes
    -Industrial leadership initiatives for other organizations to model themselves after
