As far as greenhouse gas emissions are concerned what is the best animal to raise for food?

Unfortunately, livestock production is one of the biggest greenhouse gas emitters, so whatever you decide to grow for food will contribute to climate change. If you have to make a choice, I would say poultry. Poultry uses less space and resources. Poultry provides a steady stream of nourishment in the form of eggs. Eggs are rich in protein and many other nutrients.  Poultry doesn’t produce as much greenhouse gas because of their digestive characteristics.
