Although unlikely, the voltage produced by an electric eel can kill a human. The body of an electric eel is made up primarily of organs that generate electricity. These organs allow large electric eels to produce anywhere from from 350-600 volts of electric charge. This number is significantly higher than the average wall socket, and could kill a human if administered properly.
