No, it isn’t. Although evaporated milk has the same vitamins and minerals as normal milk, it also often has a great deal of added sugar. The added calories from the sugar can increase your chance for diabetes, and other problems that would not be present from regular milk, even when both are nonfat.

Evaported mild does not have added sugar. You are confusing it with sweetened condensed milk. 🙂
