Is the Empire State building still the tallest building in North America?

    Actually, the Empire State is only the 3rd largest skyscraper in North America.  The Willis Tower is the tallest, followed by the Trump International Hotel and Tower.  Both are in Chicago.

    No.  The tallest building (skyscraper) in North America is the Willis Tower, formerly known as the Sears Tower, in Chicago, Illinois.  It is 1451ft high.  It is surpassed by a guyed radio tower in North Dakota, at over 2,000 feet, but not really a building so much as a structure or mast.
