Not entirely. But ovo-vegetarian and ovo-lacto-vegetarian diets include eggs. An egg that is non fertilized is deemed to contain no life.
Depends on who you ask. Ovo-lacto vegetarians will eat them, but others will not. For example, a vegan would not eat eggs because they will not use any animal products at all. Part of determining whether or not to eat eggs has to do with factory farming, too. It’s a personal decision.
