    Certain colors, with black being the foemost, promote more light absorbtion than others. This is due to the fact that, in the light spectrum, white is a combination of every color, and as a result, reflects every color, meaning sunlight just bounces off it it almost entirely. In contrast, black is th epurest combinaiton of every color of light, so it absorbs them all, reflecting none back into our eyes. This results in black absorbing the full rays of the sun and other light sources… which means things colored black heat up faster under light, and would promote evaporation.
