No. There are a number of hydroelectric power stations outside the US that produce more power than all of the power stations on the Colorado River combined. In all, the Colorado River power stations have a total capacity of about 4 million kw. The Three Gorges Dam on China’s Yangtze River, the largest in the world, has a capacity of 22.5 million kw, and the ITAIPU dam in Brazil has a capacity of 14 million kw.
