The PS3 does, consuming 150 watts, compared with 119 watts for the Xbox 360. The consumption rates stays pretty much the same when the systems are idle. The PS3 consumes much more energy, chewing up five times more energy than a fridge. The nintendo Wii still manages to use less energy than both the X-Box and PS3 though.
