Does Wal-Mart have a good sustainability index?

The sustainability index is an idea created by Wal-Mart to measure the environmental impact of every product it sells. Their official webpage says this index will be based on science and research. It will include every aspect and impact of the entire supply change.

The process is still in the works. According to the first link I provided, it will take up to a year or two for the labels to appear on products in Wal-Mart.
