I can’t find any examples of fog net projects in the U.S. FogQuest is a nonprofit company that uses fog capturing and if you look through their current and past projects, none are in the U.S. though many are in South America. For a developed country like the United States, it doesn’t make sense to put in the time and effort to capture water from fog when we already have access to so much water.
Fog nets aren’t being used in the US but are very successful in Peru and are prefect for regions with valleys and fluctuating temperatures (large temperature differences between cold nights and warm days).
