Does the United States have any tidal power plants working right now?

Unfortunately I do not believe we do.  The first tidal power station was built in France on the Rance River in the 1960s.  There are also variously sized tidal power schemes in Nova Scotia, Vancouver Island, Northern Ireland, Russia, and in South Korea.  As far as I can tell, there are no solid plans for one to be built in the U.S. as of yet.
