Does the UK have any plans for an electric vehicle infrastructure?

    Yes.  The government of the UK is offering citizens large cash incentives to purchase electric vehicles, covering up to a quarter of the cost of the vehicle.  They have also given 30 million pounds ($45 million) to a project called Plugged in Places, which will install 11,000 recharging stations around the country in the next three years.
