Does the type of oil you use in your car make a difference with efficiency?

Synthetic oil can increase fuel efficiency by 5% because it creates less friction, allowing the motor to run at optimal levels.  Beyond that, make sure you change it enough because dirty oil inhibits efficiency, and choose the correct viscosity if you can’t get synthetic.  Oil with too high viscosity will cause resistance in the engine.
