Does the transportation costs make curbside recycling worth it?

While curbside recycling increases city and town transportation costs, it drastically reduces the costs of refuse disposal.

Well this depends on how quickly it is done and how far you drive. Additionally, if you do this on a bicycle you will have no transportation costs.

Well, it depends on the area. If a truck is having to drive five miles an hour through a congested city and has to cover a large area, then it would be a higher energy cost. If it were a small country town, it’d be less expensive, probably.
