Does tea tree oil really kill mold?

    Yes.  The pine-like needles of the melaleuca plant (Australian tea) kill not only mold but bacteria and other fungus as well.     Tea tree oil is also effective at killing topical bacteria on skin. This is why it makes a great anti-acne product.
