As spiders produce the silk threads used to make webs in their bodies, there really isn’t a limit to how many webs a spider can make during its lifetime. Some actually eat old webs, which are very high in protein, in order to get the energy to build a new one. Each spider has a different combination of glands that each produce a unique type of thread.
