Depending on the physical size of the school, a larger high school sould have a smaller footprint and a more condensed student body but not necessarily. Often it is even more difficult to be green the larger the population of a group is because of production costs.
Yes, to some degree. Because of economies of scale it would be more efficient to build one high school for 2000 students than two schools with 1,000 students each or four with 500 students each.
