Trenton, the simplest answer is no. Compact Fluorescent Lights are rated by the number of watts consumed and the amount of lumens and kelvin that are emitted. one 8′ high-output fluorescent can be replaced by an equally if not stronger 6″ model. Hope I helped, and have a green day!
