Just like milk, Silk contains calcium, selenium, zinc, riboflavin, and B-12. Silk contains vitamin A and vitamin D, which you can only get from milk if you buy a vitamin-fortified kind.
Unlike milk, Silk is a source of magnesium and iron. It also has heart-healthier omega-3 fatty acids whereas milk typically contains more saturated fats.
Silk is a great option for those who are lactose intolerant because it doesn’t have dairy in it. As stated above, Silk has a lot of great benefits to it and I personally love it! However, depending on which flavor (especially chocolate) it tends to have a lot of sugar. So just be sure that if you are drinking Silk often to check and make sure that the one you are drinking doesn’t have a lot of sugar.
