The Environmental Working Group recently polled a number of dealerships to find out if warranties on vehicles would be void if E15 gasoline were used, which is a higher blend of ethanol than E85.  The following four companies said that the warranty would be void if it is found that E15 has caused engine damage: Lexus, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen.  Other companies like BMW, Dodge, Jeep, and Honda were a bit more vague, leaving huge room for gray areas.  Your best bet is to check with your dealership, better safe than sorry.
